With 13 years experience of teaching Business and General English to mainly Finnish and Russian students, I still get a kick out of seeing my students make progress in their studies and stride towards achieving their English language goals. Our communicative approach to learning English at Lärkkulla encourages our students to express themselves, ask questions and explore the structures which govern the language. I have been teaching English for 17 years to students of all ages, levels, backgrounds and cultures - from politicians to refugees, business leaders to schoolchildren. I care deeply about each and every one of my students and treat them with all the respect and attention that I would desire if I were a student again. I have many years experience of teaching English to Russian students and this gives me useful insight into the psyche, needs and demands of Russian students, and also helps me to design our courses accordingly
